The Forsyth Humane Society will unleash "Mutz: The Urban Underdog " on Winston-Salem’s downtown streets in a fabulous parade and street party on Saturday, April 29 2006. "Mutz: The Urban Underdog" can be found all summer at the following location: 6TH AND VINE- wine bar 209 West 6th Street Winston Salem, NC Art Unleashed will raise funds for animals in need, who too often live out on the streets for real. These funds will support the Humane Society’s “No-Kill” Adoption Center, Educational Outreach Programs, Sick and Injured Animal Fund, and Low-Cost Spay Neuter Assistance for Low-Income Pet Owners. By supporting Art Unleashed you’ll help end animal overpopulation in our community. Together we can make a difference! Art Unleashed Schedule: April 29, 2006 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.: Pet Parade and Street Party. Join us and our animals for a festive downtown parade at 11 a.m., followed by a street party from noon until 3 p.m. Street Party with pet contests, stage with live music, animal demonstrations, vendors, food and drink. More details will follow! April 29 – mid-August: Art Unleashed! Animals will “live” downtown at their “Foster Homes.” A Walking Map will be available on line at ( http://fhs-artunleashed.org ), as well as at the Winston-Salem Convention and Visitors Bureau. August 26: Art Unleashed! Adoption Auction. "Mutz: The Urban Underdog" will be auctioned off to her permanent home.
