Too often mixed breed dogs, commonly known as mutts, are misunderstood and underestimated. Many people fail to realize the exceptional qualities that these dogs tend to possess.  Fortunately for the world of mixed breed canines, one strong willed dog is stepping forward to ensure the proper treatment of not just mutts like herself but of all animals.  Mutz, The Urban Underdog, has assumed the role of doggie super hero!

     During Mutz’s first few years of life she experienced terrible neglect and abuse.  Since barely surviving such indecent conditions, Mutz has vowed to avenge abusers and educate the public about the proper treatment of animals.  Everyday, Mutz works tirelessly to protect animals from neglect and abuse while encouraging spaying and neutering as methods for solving animal overpopulation. For other animals with heartbreaking pasts like hers, Mutz barks a strong message of resilience in the face of cruelty. 

     Today Mutz carries on her quest to protect the innocent and defend less fortunate canines and critters. Her ultimate goal is to increase the public’s awareness of animal welfare.  Mutz will gladly “throw a bone” to any needy pooch. Whatever life holds in store for her, Mutz will never forget these words: "With great power comes great responsibility."
