This oil painting was created prior to my venture into dog art. My inspiration into the world of ducks and wildlife came from my friend and former roommate at CCAD, Adam Grimm, http://www.adamgrimm.com, who is the youngest Federal Duck Stamp Winner in the US at this time. I enjoyed painting ducks, but was drawn by my passion to the four-legged animals. My dogs Button & Zipper showed me my true calling in life.
